Hennepin County Children, Family and Adult Services Department

The Hennepin County Children, Family and Adult Services Department (CFASD) works to ensure the safety and stability of low income families and the mentally or physically disabled in Hennepin County. These services are provided to all residents including children, adults and seniors.

Many of the families in CFASD have limited incomes making the holiday season especially tough. Bell employees recognize the fact many of these families cannot afford gifts for their children and loved ones at Christmas. So, instead of exchanging gifts with each other, Bell employees purchase gifts through CFASD. The families provide employees with a wish list. In most cases, the lists contain basic necessities. The gifts are then wrapped with a card bearing the first name of the recipient. The countless thank-you cards stand as a reminder to Bell employees how important and appreciated their contributions are year after year.
